Dave Blum

Dave made a commitment to Christ at age 17 and connected with a Great Commission campus church at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1975. He and Vanessa met there and were married in 1979. In 1985 they moved to Wilmington, DE, as part of a GCM church-planting team. Dave worked for 10 years in the journalism and corporate communications fields before transitioning to full-time ministry in 1990. He helped shepherd churches in Delaware and Centreville, Virginia, before planting Evergreen in 1998.

Tom Millar

Tom’s roots can be traced to Las Vegas, where he first came to Christ and married his high school sweetheart, Paula. In California a few years later they both caught a vision to follow and serve the Lord. Tom is a talented musician and helped build the foundation for our current music ministry. Daniel Hall

Dan grew up near Yorktown, Virginia, and met Kristin at a church who ministered to students at Virginia Tech and the Blacksburg community. They were married and moved to Northern Virginia after college and have been very active in small groups, music, discipleship and follow-up ever since. Dan is an aerospace engineer and employed full-time by a defense contractor in the area.

Brad Birkhimer

Brad is one of the pastors at Evergreen focusing on the men’s ministry. He is also a ceramic artist, and since 2006, he has been creating one of a kind, wood, soda, and gas fired ceramics for exhibition and the home. He lives in Manassas with his wife, Kim, and their family of 3 children.

Brian Schmidt

Brian is one of the pastors at Evergreen, focusing on administrative and finance matters. Brian lives in Manassas with his wife, Joanna, and their children.

Paul Marron

Paul Marron is one of the pastors at Evergreen focusing on the men’s ministry. He is also a local vet and owner of Battlefield Animal Hospital.

Jessica Young

Jessica grew up in Upstate New York. She has been a resident of Virginia for almost 20 years. She is the mother of 4 children ranging from preschool to youth group age.
